Rosina’s MediaPage ~

What’s just as much fun (for me, at least) as drinking wine? Talking about it ~ and sharing my experience (and experiences!) with anyone who wants to listen…

I *loooove* talking about wine. *Especially* when food is involved. So imagine my delight when I started getting booked on radio shows across the country to schmooze about my favorite subject!

Want to see (well, *hear*) what I mean? I’ll pop in some choice links below, and you can listen in to any of the shows that strike your fancy…

New York-based Bonnie D. Graham (aka “Radio Red”) brings a fascinating coterie of guests to her online “Read My Lips” BlogTalkRadio show. Here’s a link (click *here*) to the show Bonnie and I did just before (what would have been) the 100th birthday of my mentor, Julia Child. (In the photo, below right, circa 2002, I’m escorting Julia to her table at a gala dinner in her honor. What a tremendous privilege!

Bill Leff (he’s a former stand-up comic, and it shows!) keeps his legions of late-night listeners awake ~ and entertained ~ at Chicago’s largest radio station, WGN. On our December 2012 show, Bill and I talk about wine and holiday entertaining ~ with a sweet lead-in to my (free) eBook, Drink Wine With Dinner® ~ Great Flavors for the Holidays, the New Year, and beyond… (Click *here* to get *your* copy!)

Michelle Colston in Texas ~ young, hip, and a self-described “bad-ass,” brings her “Undiscovered Goddess” show to WebTalkRadio. In January 2013 (just *click* for the audio), Michelle and I kicked around some outside-the-box ideas for “daring pairings” of our fave wines and foods. (Don’t miss our off-the-cuff “recipes” for Bacon-Parmigiano Popcorn, paired with Pinot Noir!)

I’m back with Bill Leff in February 2013, on Chicago’s WGN, talking about ways to say “I Love You” with wine and food for Valentine’s Day! (Just *click* for the audio.) Here’s a pic of my “Prawn Hearts” recipe. (Bill & I brainstormed how to DIY a Cupid’s arrow from those wooden skewers…)

The next day, I headed west (on the air, at least) to KYNT in South Dakota, joining David Leonard for his “Alive at Five” drivetime show. First, we keyed in on the dreaded “intimidation factor” that plagues the world of wine. Then we fixed the problem with the help of my fun, foolproof, and confidence-building “Rosina’s 5 Non-Rules of Wine and Food Pairing.”

My “5 Non-Rules”, by the way, plus tips, recipes, some very cool quotes and lots more, are in my *free* eBook, Drink Wine With Dinner® ~ An Introduction. You can *click here*) for *your* free copy.

I’ll keep adding new links for you as I do more shows. As I mentioned, I *love* being on the air, bantering with the radio hosts, and “edutaining” listeners about wine and food ~ and ideally, about delicious ways to put the two together so that the whole wine-and-food experience equals *much* more than the sum of its parts!

Stay tuned ~ there’s *lots* more to come…
Cheers, my friend,
Rosina
