The two major February wine events that I look forward to each year ~ namely, the International Alsace Varietals Festival in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino (above and right), and the Pinot Noir Summit in San Francisco (scroll down) ~ both brought amazing opportunities, as always, to taste dozens of world-class, “best of breed” wines.
