The two major February wine events that I look forward to each year ~ namely, the International Alsace Varietals Festival in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino (above and right), and the Pinot Noir Summit in San Francisco (scroll down) ~ both brought amazing opportunities, as always, to taste dozens of world-class, “best of breed” wines.

Rosina’s Recipes ~ Pork, Polenta, and Pinot!

The finished dish, full of Pinot-friendly flavors. Polenta with parmigiano; pork with cinnamon-balsamic onions, earthy beets.

This little piggy… graced my table tonight, in a succulent, tender entrée of seared pork tenderloin, simply prepared, and served on a bed of parmigiano-laced polenta. Yum!
