Our destination? Nicholson Ranch, just past the Carneros region in Sonoma Valley. For many reasons ~ its elegant-yet-rustic setting; its hands-on, family-run feel; and most of all its superb, award-gobbling wines ~ Nicholson Ranch ranks among my all-time favorite wineries anywhere.
